Terms of Sales

These general conditions of sale apply to any order taken on the site www.vertea-caviar.fr which is the online sales website of Vertea caviar. These conditions are accepted by the customer when placing an order on the site www.vertea-caviar.fr.


1- Product Availability

The products are offered within the limits of available stocks. In the event of a stock shortage on an ordered product, we will inform you by telephone or by e-mail. The customer can then cancel his order or request the exchange of the products concerned.

2- Vertea’s obligations

Vertea agrees, after confirmation of the order and validation of payment, to sell and have the products ordered delivered to the recipient during working hours (Tuesday to Friday). The delivery time chosen by the customer is understood to be exclusive of postal delivery problems and subject to product availability.

3- Customer obligations

By placing an order, the customer agrees to take delivery of the products ordered and to pay the price, as well as the transport costs of the products and all duties and taxes related to the regulations of the importing country. More generally, the customer agrees to comply with these general conditions of sale. The goods become the property of the customer only after full payment of the price. The transfer of risks takes place from delivery; the customer agrees to be responsible for the conservation of the product.

The customer must take care not to consume the products beyond the expiration date indicated on the label.

4- Selling Price

The prices are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs. The total amount owed by the Customer is indicated on the order confirmation page. Any change in the applicable VAT rate will be automatically reflected.

5- Payment

Payment is made online when ordering, by bank card and via a secure system. The order can only be dispatched after full payment o planifié le 16/01/2020 à 11:00f the order and full delivery details

6- Delivery

The products are shipped in insulated packaging which guarantees that the cold chain is maintained until delivery. The products are sent by the carrier to the address mentioned by the customer, from Tuesday to Friday. Vertea Caviar cannot be held responsible for any deterioration of the products due to late receipt due to the absence of the customer during delivery or an incorrect address provided on the site. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the packages upon delivery, in the presence of the carrier as far as possible. In the event of an anomaly, he must notify Vertea Caviar within 24 hours.

7-  Complaints

Any claim must be made within 24 hours of delivery and the package must be re-dispatched immediately. The complaint will only be accepted after receipt of the returned package.

8-  Data protection

Vertea Caviar reserves the right to collect information from buyers. It is compulsory to fill in the personal information collected for distance selling, this information being essential for the processing and delivery of orders as well as the preparation of invoices. The lack of information leads to the invalidity of the order. The customer gives his consent to the use of the data collected, under the Vertea caviar customer file. The customer has at any time a right of access, rectification and deletion of the data which he can exercise with Vertea Caviar by e-mail: contact@vertea-caviar.fr

9- Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the provisions of article L. 121-20-2-3 ° of the Consumer Code, the legal right of withdrawal does not apply to products whose consumption deadline is less than or equal to 3 months.

10- Dispute resolution

11- Applicable law

This contract and the CGV governing it are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute between the parties, the parties agree to approach each other in order to find an amicable solution.

12- Modification of sales conditions

Vertea reserves the right to modify and adapt the general conditions of sale at a later date.
